Finding the right people to fill the role of bridesmaids can be tricky. Here are two things to consider when you do:wait until it’s a year before your wedding to pick your bridal party. Right now it’s way too early and things can really change. You may become very close to someone you weren’t close with, or a close relationship you have now may fizzle (happens more often than you think).
even sides are not important at all, and in fact the more weddings I attend, the less I see even sides. What is important is that you have everyone you want standing up next to you on your wedding day, whether it’s 2 people or 9 people. Your people are more important than a number.
If you want a larger party this may not work for you, but I have found the smaller numbers feel less of offensive than having large wedding parties. Also if you are at all traditional you will be expected to pay for bridesmaid outfits, so it also makes it cheaper in the long run to invite fewer people to your bridal party.
